LIROS mooring rope NORDIC eye spliced dockline
- Breaking load: depends on line diameter (See table below. Reduction in breaking load by 20% due to the eye splice already included.)
- Diameter ø: 10 mm - 18 mm
- Lengths: 6 m - 15 m (different lengths on request)

- Construction: 3-strand twisted lay, heat-set
- Material: 100% polyester (PES), mixture of high-strength polyester and spun polyester
- Finishing: Heat-setting, produces a higher bond within the strands
- Right end: 40 cm eye splice
- Left end: whipping knot
- Elasticity / stretch: highly elastic, elongation at working load > 17 % (4 out of 5 points)
- Grip: very pliable, super handy and soft (5 out of 5 points)
- Spliceability: very easy to splice (5 out of 5 points)
- Abrasion resistance: resistant to chafing (4 out of 5 points)
- UV resistance: very resistant to UV light (5 out of 5 points)
- Floatability: no, does not float
- Conclusion: mooring line with traditional twisted lay, convinces with very pleasant handling and high elasticity, very popular in Scandinavia
