Hemp rope HEMPTWIST ø24mm per meter 4-strand twisted by Kanirope^® - high-quality product made in Germany. Manufactured from high quality, fine long hemp fibres (natural hemp). Pure natural product from a renewable raw source. The rope is dimensionally stabil, abrasion resistant, skin friendly and very handy to hold (even in moist state). Hemp ropes are very popular in horticulture and organic farming because of its inveronmental compability. They have also established themselves as an excelent creative element for furnishing ideas, ambience design and DIY enthusiasts.

If you order "by the metre" please type the total required length in the field "Quantity". For example: If you need 14 m of rope, please type "14" as the quantity and you will receive 14 metres rope in one piece. At your request we can cut the rope (up to 5 cuts per order are free). You can write your requirements with regard to cutting and length dimensions by typing in the field "Notes to my order". Please take into consideration that cuts can never be „mm-exact“ and there might be length difference of ±2% with the ordered length.

Our advice on ropes made of natural hemp:

Please note that hemp ropes have a natural odor that will not disappears for a while. The smell is a mixture of hay and old flour sack. It will disappear after a few months of use. A certain residual odor remains forever which is often desirable when using hemp ropes in the design and equipment area. The "sour" notes will go out and the rather pleasant hay-like smell will stay.

Alternatively, you can use Polyhemp rope. Polyhemp rope is visually and haptically indistinguishable from a natural hemp rope, but offers some advantages. Polyhemp rope is odorless, does not absorb any liquids, is washable with a damp cloth and therefore easier to clean.
