A supplementary positioning and holding rope is attached to these lateral positioning eyelets, as hanging in the fall protection system is not permissible. Under no circumstances should a fall-absorbing connector be attached to the lateral positioning eyelets.

Work positioning harnesses are also available as a sit harness, but when using this variant, an uncontrolled fall into the harness must absolutely be excluded. The most common use of sit harnesses with lateral positioning eyelets is in the field of tree care (SKT).

The user should inspect the harness before each use, and a competent person should inspect it at least once a year, as well as after particularly wear-intensive use, after a fall incident, or whenever there are doubts about the safe condition of the harness. show less
