TwistLock Carabiner

In this category you can order carabiners or snap hooks with Twist Lock closure. Twist-lock carabiners belong to the group of auto-locking locking carabiners with 2-way locking. Carabiner with twist lock closure allow easy handling of the closure mechanism. The TwistLock can be opened with a combination of two movements: only a quarter turn of the locking sleeve then allows the catch to be pushed in. Since this sequence of movements can also occur randomly, the TwistLock locking system is rated as "low" by the German Alpine Club. Carabiners with TwistLock should therefore be used redundantly if necessary. In addition to being easy to use, it is advantageous that Twist Lock carabiners lock themselves: closing the lock cannot be forgotten.
