Special Rope B1 ø8mm by the Meter 8-strand braided White Fire Retardant by Kanirope® - made of flame-retardant polyester 1100 dtex Type 704. This product was manufactured in accordance with Fire Security Class B1 for building and constriction materials. Currently there is no special norm for flame retardant ropes. In the case of fire, the properties and quality of this rope offer minimization and prevention of burning drops, the development of smoke does not exceed by the standard demanded measure, and after removal of the fire source the fire goes out by itself. The use of these materials is required in public areas and events for safety reasons.

The rope is resistant to mineral acids and organic solvents. It is decomposed by strong sulfuric acids and alkalis at high temperatures and is soluble in phenols.

Important information when ordering rope by the metre

When ordering products sold by the metre, please always enter the total length required as the quantity. For example, if you require a rope with a total length of 14 metres, enter “14” as the quantity. By default, you will receive one continuous 14-metre length of rope.

If you would like the rope to be cut into several separate lengths, please enter the required cutting lengths in the “Order comments” field during the final step of the checkout. Up to 5 cuts per item are free of charge.

If you require more than 5 cuts for a rope you wish to order, please contact our customer service team by email before placing your order. We will review your cutting requirements and will be happy to provide you with an individual quotation.

Please also note that, for technical reasons, rope cannot be cut with millimetre precision. Individual cut lengths may have a tolerance of ± 2% compared with the requested length.
